Henry Drayton

Rush Drayton is an emerging sculptor from Sydney, Australia. Rush is interested in the relationship between animals and humans and, by extension, explores human society through an animalistic, surrealist lens.

He delves into various topics, including the impact of invasive species on native fauna, the epidemic of loneliness, and disconnection from our animal selves. After completing his Bachelor of Industrial Design at the University of Technology Sydney, Rush honed his skills in mould-making, sculpting, and animatronics at a special effects studio.

Now employed as a software engineer, Rush works after hours creating sculptures from his studio in Redfern.

Harnessing his versatility across different mediums, Rush can express his ideas in a dimension that extends beyond the confines of 2D art.
